CISCO/AppDynamics Lunch & Learn Virtual Event Helps Raise Funds for VFF USA’s Programs

April 12, 2021

On January 27, CISCO/AppDynamics Global Engagement and Social Impact team hosted #AppD Cares, a virtual Lunch & Learn event highlighting VFF USA and Rural Development Trust work in India. Moncho Ferrer, President of the Board of the Vicente Ferrer Foundation USA, and Andrey Gidaspov, Executive Director, spoke to an audience of 50 CISCO/AppDynamics employees and RDT/VFF USA staff.

Mr. Ferrer shared key highlights in the foundation’s journey from just an idea back in 1969 to a thriving global organization today. He focused on VFF USA’s programs to support education and disability inclusive development. CISCO/AppDynamics employees learned about key projects and volunteering opportunities at VFF USA.

This event would not have happened without the active support of Prem Gangalakunta, a CISCO/AppDynamics team member whose family hails from Andhra Pradesh. Prem introduced VFF USA to CISCO/AppDynamics and visited Rural Development Trust headquarters in Anantapur.

Thanks to Prem’s active engagement and CISCO/AppDynamics corporate matching program, VFF USA received generous funding for its COVID-19 Relief Fund and Spark Joy campaign.

We express our deep gratitude to all CISCO/AppDynamics employees who supported our projects in India, and look forward to continue our collaboration with CISCO/AppDynamics staff and volunteers in the US and India.
